Top 5 Places to Watch Fireworks in Naples, FL

Sandra Schlaupitz · July 3, 2026

Living in Naples means you get to experience some of the most beautiful fireworks displays in all of Southwest Florida. Whether it is the Fourth of July, New Year's Eve, or a community celebration, there is nothing quite like watching the sky light up over the Gulf of Mexico. After more than 26 years of living and working in this community, I have seen my fair share of fireworks nights — and I have learned exactly where to go for the best experience.

Here are my top five places to watch fireworks in and around Naples, Florida — along with a few insider tips to make the most of your evening.

1. Naples Pier and Naples Beach

This is the iconic spot — and for good reason. The City of Naples launches its official Fourth of July fireworks display from a barge in the Gulf of Mexico, just offshore near the Naples Pier. The entire stretch of Naples Beach becomes a front-row seat, with families and visitors spread out along the sand as the explosions light up the water. However, expect restrictions this year: the pier is under construction and some beach-end closures are listed. Check Visit Naples FL for the latest details on access points and any area closures before you head out.

Why it is great: There is no more classic Naples experience than watching fireworks reflect off the Gulf while your toes are in the sand. The atmosphere is electric — live music, food vendors, and a real community celebration. You are right in the heart of the action.

Insider tip: Arrive early — and I mean early. The best spots along the beach fill up by late afternoon. With the pier under construction, certain beach-end access points may be restricted, so review the latest closures before you go. Stake out a spot on the open sand and bring a beach chair, a blanket, and a cooler. Parking along Gulf Shore Drive fills fast, so consider walking or biking if you are staying nearby. The beach is open to everyone, and this is truly a community event.

2. Lowdermilk Park

If you want a slightly more relaxed, family-friendly experience, Lowdermilk Park is one of my favorite alternatives. This beachfront park sits just south of the Pier and offers wide, open views of the Gulf — perfect for fireworks. It has picnic pavilions, a playground, restrooms, and plenty of green space to set up camp.

Why it is great: Lowdermilk gives you a less crowded experience compared to the main beach near the Pier, while still being close enough for an unobstructed view. It is ideal for families with young children who want space to spread out without being in the thick of the crowd.

Insider tip: The park has a small concession stand, but I recommend packing your own snacks and drinks. Set up your blankets on the western grassy area facing the Gulf for the best view. If you are a Naples local or rent nearby, this is the neighborhood spot that never disappoints.

3. Fireworks Cruise with Pure Florida or Naples Princess

For a truly unforgettable experience, get on the water. Both Pure Florida and the Naples Princess luxury yacht offer special fireworks cruises for the Fourth of July and New Year's Eve. These boats depart from the Tin City docks on Naples Bay and take you out into the water for a front-row, unobstructed view of the display.

Why it is great: There is nothing like being on the water when the fireworks go off above you. The sound, the reflections on the water, the complete 360-degree view — it is the premium experience. Pure Florida's M/V Double Sunshine even includes a narrated tour of Naples Bay and Port Royal before the show begins.

Insider tip: These cruises sell out — book well in advance, especially for Fourth of July. Bring a light jacket; it can get breezy on the water even in summer. If you are hosting clients or celebrating with family, this is a standout experience that shows off what makes Naples special. Check Pure Florida and Naples Princess for cruise schedules and reservations.

4. Vanderbilt Beach

Vanderbilt Beach is one of the most popular beaches in North Naples, and it offers a wide, beautiful stretch of white sand with clear Gulf views. On fireworks nights, it becomes a vibrant gathering spot with locals and visitors alike. The beach is easily accessible from the Ritz-Carlton and surrounding residential communities.

Why it is great: Vanderbilt Beach gives you a slightly different angle on the fireworks compared to Naples Pier. The beach is wider in spots, which means more room to spread out. If you live in the Vanderbilt Beach or Pelican Bay area, this is your neighborhood celebration — and you can walk there.

Insider tip: The Vanderbilt Beach parking garage fills up early on holiday evenings. Arrive before sunset if you want a spot, or arrange a drop-off. There are several restaurants and bars along the beachfront that may offer food and drink specials on fireworks nights — call ahead and make a reservation if you want to pair dinner with the show.

5. Clam Pass Beach Park

If you prefer a more tranquil, nature-surrounded setting for your fireworks viewing, Clam Pass is a hidden gem. This boardwalk-access beach is tucked between the Ritz-Carlton and Pelican Bay, winding through a lush mangrove forest before opening up to a beautiful stretch of beach. It is quieter, less trafficked, and has a unique, almost private feel.

Why it is great: Clam Pass offers a peaceful alternative to the more crowded beaches. The boardwalk walk itself is part of the experience — you will hear the sounds of the mangroves and might even spot a heron or osprey before you reach the sand. It is the kind of spot that reminds you why people fall in love with Naples.

Insider tip: The boardwalk is about a quarter mile long, so wear comfortable shoes and bring a flashlight for the walk back after dark. The beach at Clam Pass is still well-positioned for fireworks viewing — you will see the bursts over the Gulf just fine. This is a great choice if you want a more intimate, local experience without the festival atmosphere.

Bonus Tips for Fireworks Night in Naples

  • Check the schedule: The City of Naples publishes its fireworks schedule on naplesgov.com. For 2026, the Fourth of July show is confirmed, and the New Year's celebration has been scheduled for early January in recent years — verify the date before you plan.
  • Arrive early: Parking near the beaches fills up hours before the show. Consider carpooling, biking, or using ride-sharing services.
  • Bring the essentials: Beach chairs, blankets, bug spray, water, and a flashlight for the walk back. Fireworks nights are warm but breezy — dress comfortably.
  • Know the traffic plan: Expect heavy traffic leaving the beach areas after the show. Have a patience plan — or stay for a post-fireworks dinner at a nearby restaurant.
  • Marco Island option: If you are in the southern part of the area, Marco Island also hosts fireworks displays at Tigertail Beach and South Marco Beach — beautiful alternatives with a slightly smaller-town feel.

Fireworks nights are one of those things that make Naples feel like home. Whether you are watching from the sand, from a boat on the bay, or from a quiet boardwalk beach, the combination of warm Gulf breezes and bright sky makes every display feel special.

If you are thinking about making Southwest Florida your home — whether full-time, seasonal, or as an investment — I would love to help you find the perfect place to enjoy moments exactly like these. This is what I do, and this is why I love it.
